Ines Pujos holds an MFA in Poetry from NYU. The manuscript for Something Dark to Shine In (at some points aka Against Porcelain and Lilly of The Valley) was a finalist for the following prizes: BOAAT Press's 2018 open reading period, Alice James' 2017 open reading period, YesYes Books' 2015 Open Reading Period and Finalist for The National Poetry Series' 2017 Competition, and Semi-finalist for: The 2017 Berkshire Prize by Tupelo Press, The 2017 Pleiades Press Editors Prize for Poetry, and for YESYES Book's 2017 Pamet River Prize.
